We Deliver - Together.\nThe Opportunity:\nAs the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of planning and execution of varying small projects as assigned by the client within LAND1508. Managing projects from inception to introduction into service and handover to the sustainment organization.\nThe incumbent will play a pivotal role in planning, organising, coordinating, and controlling small projects in adherence to established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. With a focus on client satisfaction, the Project Manager contributes to day-to-day communication and interactions with clients, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.\nLocated in Canberra and collocated with the project client you are a pivotal communication liaison between the project office in Melbourne and the SOGC.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.\nOversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.\nMonitor and control project activities to meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.\nMaintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.\nProvide updates on project progress, address client concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.\nFoster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.\nFacilitate communication and coordination among team members to enhance overall project efficiency.\nEnsure projects comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and other relevant records.\nPossess a strong understanding of the respective industry, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.\nApply industry knowledge to enhance project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.\nAs the ideal candidate you will bring:\nQualifications in Project Management (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)\nMinimum of 5 years of related project management experience\nStrong project management skills, including planning, organisation, and coordination.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices.\nProficient in project management tools and software.\nAbility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance\nAll candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
