The Project Manager - Engineering will act as the primary technical interface with clients and provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering Leadership & Project Delivery\nLead the engineering execution of large-scale and complex FEED, EPC, EPCm, and portfolio projects.\nEnsure engineering deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project requirements.\nDevelop and implement engineering execution strategies aligned with project objectives and client expectations.\nDrive engineering performance, productivity, and quality across all project phases.\nEnsure effective planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and workload management across multidisciplinary teams.\nMonitor engineering progress and proactively address issues that may impact project performance.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary technical authority and key engineering interface between KBR and the client.\nBuild and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.\nLead technical discussions, design reviews, progress meetings, and project workshops.\nEnsure clear communication of engineering progress, project risks, and mitigation strategies to clients and senior management.\nMulti-Disciplinary Coordination\nCoordinate and integrate engineering activities across all disciplines, including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, and Safety.\nFacilitate effective collaboration between Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.\nEnsure technical alignment and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.\nRisk, Quality & Technical Governance\nIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate technical, execution, and project risks.\nResolve complex engineering challenges and technical conflicts in a timely and effective manner.\nEnsure compliance with KBR procedures, client specifications, industry regulations, and quality standards.\nPromote engineering best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nChampion safety, sustainability, and environmental considerations within engineering design and project execution.\nProposal & Business Development Support\nSupport proposal and bid activities through technical leadership and strategic input.\nContribute to scope development, execution planning, resource estimation, and cost estimates.\nProvide engineering expertise during project pursuits and business growth initiatives.\nAssist in defining project delivery strategies that maximize value for clients and KBR.\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nLead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.\nSupport succession planning and capability development within the engineering organization.\nEncourage knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.\nRequired Qualifications, Experience & Skills\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.\nExperience\nMinimum 15 years of relevant experience in Engineering Project Management, Engineering Management or Large Capital Project Delivery.\nTypical successful candidates possess approximately 20 years of industry experience.\nProven experience leading engineering execution on large FEED, EPC, EPCm or major capital projects.\nDemonstrated project delivery success across international and domestic client environments.\nTechnical & Leadership Skills\nStrong leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nExtensive knowledge of engineering execution, project delivery methodologies and industry best practices.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.\nStrong commercial awareness with understanding of project cost, schedule and resource management.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.\nExceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nExperience identifying and resolving complex technical and project execution challenges.\nHigh level of professional integrity and commitment to ethical business conduct.\nUnderstanding of sustainability, environmental stewardship and responsible engineering practices.\nAbility to build credibility and gain the trust of senior leaders, clients and technical specialists.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management qualification.\nExperience delivering large-scale projects within:Oil & Gas
