The role requires strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in multicultural and client-facing environments.\nExperience delivering projects within Azerbaijan, the Caspian region, Central Asia, Türkiye, or the Middle East is highly desirable.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Leadership & Delivery\nLead multi-discipline engineering, procurement, EPCM and PMC projects from initiation through close-out.\nEstablish project execution strategies, delivery plans, and organizational structures.\nDevelop and maintain project objectives aligned with client requirements and business goals.\nEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nProvide leadership to engineering, procurement, project controls, construction management, and specialist teams.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with client project teams, partners, contractors, and regulatory authorities.\nLead project review meetings, progress presentations, and executive reporting sessions.\nManage client expectations and proactively identify and resolve project issues and concerns.\nCommercial & Contract Management\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and project governance requirements.\nMonitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, earned value, invoicing, and cash flow.\nIdentify commercial risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation actions.\nSupport contract negotiations, change management processes, and claims avoidance initiatives.\nEngineering & Procurement Oversight\nProvide leadership and direction to multi-discipline engineering teams.\nEnsure engineering deliverables are produced in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.\nOversee procurement strategies, vendor management, expediting activities, and material delivery plans.\nCoordinate interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.\nEPCM / PMC Services Management\nManage owner's engineer, PMC, and EPCM teams acting on behalf of clients.\nMonitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs and contractual obligations.\nEnsure robust project controls, risk management, and reporting systems are implemented.\nSupport project assurance, governance reviews, and project health checks.\nProject Controls & Risk Management\nEnsure effective implementation of project controls systems for planning, scheduling, cost management, risk, and reporting.\nReview and challenge project schedules and cost forecasts.\nLead risk identification workshops and ensure mitigation plans are effectively implemented.\nMonitor project performance and implement corrective actions when required.\nHealth, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)\nDemonstrate visible leadership in safety and promote a strong HSSE culture.\nEnsure compliance with KBR and client HSSE standards and procedures.\nLead incident prevention initiatives and support investigations where required.\nPromote safe-by-design and operational excellence principles.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead and develop high-performing project teams.\nManage resource planning and workforce requirements across project phases.\nConduct performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching of project personnel.\nFoster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.\nProposals\nSupport proposal development, tender preparation, client engagement activities\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 10-15 years of project delivery experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or industrial sectors.\nMinimum 5 years in a Project Manager or senior project leadership role.\nDemonstrated experience delivering Engineering, E&P, EPCM, PMC, or EPC projects.\nStrong understanding of project management principles, project controls, and commercial management.\nExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder interfaces.\nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.\nFluent in English (written and verbal).\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious project experience in Azerbaijan, Caspian Region, Central Asia, Türkiye, or the Middle East.\nExperience working with major international operators such as SOCAR, bp, Total Energies, ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, or similar organizations.\nKnowledge of Azerbaijani regulatory requirements and local industry practices.\nFluency in Azerbaijani and/or Turkish is a plus\nChartered Engineer, PMP, APM, IPMA, or equivalent professional certification.\nExperience in brownfield and greenfield project developments.\nExperience managing FEED, Detailed Design, EPCM, PMC, and EPC project phases.\nKey Competencies\nLeadership
