Oversee sourcing, bidding, negotiations, contract administration, and supplier/subcontractor performance while driving cost, schedule, quality, and commercial success. Serve as the primary commercial interface among clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, ensuring contract compliance, risk mitigation, and effective change management. Provide leadership to procurement and subcontract teams, support global project execution, and champion continuous improvement of procurement processes and best practices.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nLead all project procurement and subcontract activities from planning through closeout.\nDevelop and execute procurement and subcontracting strategies aligned with project objectives, client requirements, and risk management goals.\nManage supplier and contractor sourcing, bidding, evaluations, negotiations, awards, and contract administration.\nProvide leadership and oversight to procurement and subcontract teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective execution.\nMonitor cost, schedule, quality, and commercial performance, implementing corrective actions as required.\nManage changes, risks, claims avoidance, and contract compliance throughout project execution.\nCoordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, and other stakeholders.\nServe as the primary commercial interface with clients, suppliers, contractors, and senior management.\nDrive continuous improvement of procurement and subcontracting processes, tools, and best practices.\nSupport global project execution and coordination with international suppliers, contractors, and execution centers.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Science, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.\n15+ years of procurement, purchasing, subcontracts, and commercial management experience within EPC project environments.\nExperience leading both procurement and subcontract functions on major capital projects.\nStrong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, subcontract formation, contract administration, negotiations, and change management.\nExperience executing lump-sum and reimbursable projects in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, chemical, energy, or industrial markets.\nProven leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.\nDemonstrated commercial acumen with strong risk management and cost reduction experience.\nExperience working with international suppliers, contractors, and global execution teams.\nFamiliarity with Canadian contracting practices, Alberta industrial markets, Indigenous procurement initiatives, and local content requirements is preferred.\nStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.\nProficiency with contract management systems, e-procurement tools, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other business software.\nAbility to work in complex, schedule-driven environments and travel internationally as required.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
