But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely.\nThe Proposal Coordinator leads the administrative and organizational aspects of the proposal development process for federal, state, and local government opportunities. They work closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and the Proposal Production Team to ensure all proposal components are compliant with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, formatted correctly, and submitted on time.\nKey Responsibilities:\nRFP Analysis & Compliance\nAnalyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs-including Sections L and M-and develop detailed compliance matrices, annotated outlines, and structured templates.\n\nInterpret proposal instructions and advise Proposal Managers and Capture leads on submission requirements, formatting standards, and compliance risks.\n\nMaintain strict document version control and ensure compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle.\n\nSchedule & Workflow Management\nCoordinate color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold), production phases, and submission deadlines.\n\nContribute to and monitor proposal schedules, adding input to ensure workflow is in line with proposal submission due date.\n\nFormatting & Quality Control\nEnsure adherence to page limits, template standards, branding requirements, and corporate document style guides.\n\nCollaborate with graphics and production teams to support layout, charts, and visual content.\n\nProduction & Submission Leadership\nLiaise between Proposal Manager and Document Specialists for creation of compliant, electronic-ready proposal packages.\n\nManage final quality checks, PDF optimization, and file naming conventions.\n\nSupport the Contracts Manager with electronic submissions through government portals (e.g., SAM.gov, agency-specific systems).\n\nDocument Control & Repository Management\nMaintain organized digital repositories (SharePoint Pursuit Management Center [PMC] or similar systems).\n\nAssign user permissions to the PMC for all contributors including subcontractors and consultants.\n\nEnsure accurate file structures, document libraries, version histories, and naming conventions.\n\nTrack the proposals throughout their lifecycle and supporting documentation post-submission.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n4-6+ years of experience in proposal coordination, editing, or production within government contracting.\n\nStrong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific procurement requirements.\n\nProficiency with proposal tools such as SharePoint, PMC, Deltek, GovWin, VisibleThread, and related systems.\n\nExceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and time-management skills.\n\nAbility to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and support large, multi-disciplinary proposal teams.\n\nBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAPMP Certification (Foundation or higher).\n\nExperience coordinating complex color team reviews and high-volume proposal efforts.\n\nFamiliarity with federal and defense submission portals (e.g., GSA, DoD, DOE).\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nAbility to anticipate team needs, streamline workflows, and uphold high standards of quality and compliance.\n\nA collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous improvement.\n\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
