These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nKBR is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the implementation and execution of the project's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) program for a major LNG project. This role provides leadership and oversight of quality activities across engineering, procurement, construction, mechanical completion, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes and standards, and established quality management systems. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience managing quality programs on large-scale LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, or other industrial projects, driving excellence in construction quality, inspection and testing, supplier quality, and turnover processes to support safe, compliant, and successful project delivery.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nManage day-to-day execution of the project Quality Management System (QMS).\nLead Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities throughout construction, mechanical completion, commissioning, and startup phases.\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupervise quality personnel, inspectors, auditors, and field quality representatives.\nOversee implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and inspection programs.\nCoordinate quality activities covering:Civil and structural construction\nMechanical equipment installation\nPiping fabrication and installation\nWelding and NDE/NDT activities\nElectrical and instrumentation systems\nModule fabrication and assembly\nMechanical completion and turnover\n\nManage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and root cause investigations.\nMonitor contractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.\nSupport supplier and vendor quality surveillance programs.\nCoordinate internal and external quality audits for contractors, suppliers, and project teams.\nEnsure quality documentation, turnover records, inspection reports, and certification packages are complete and accurate.\nTrack and report quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators.\nWork closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to proactively resolve quality issues.\nPromote a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline; however equivalent construction experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum 10 years of quality management experience supporting LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, power generation, or heavy industrial projects.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role on major capital projects.\nStrong working knowledge of:ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems\nASME, API, ASTM, AWS, and applicable industry codes\nWelding and fabrication quality requirements\nNDE/NDT inspection methods\nSupplier quality programs\nInspection and test planning\nMechanical completion and turnover processes\nCommissioning and startup quality requirements\n\nExperience managing contractor and subcontractor quality performance.\nStrong understanding of quality documentation and record retention requirements.\nExcellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to lead multidisciplinary quality teams in a fast-paced project environment.\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nDirect SAGD project experience strongly preferred.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent certification.\nLead Auditor certification (ISO 9001) preferred.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.\nExperience supporting EPC, EPCM, or owner-led project execution models.\nFamiliarity with modular fabrication yards and international supply chains.\nExperience on projects exceeding $500 million in total installed cost.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
