The position requires a wide breadth of special process/Nadcap experience across programs to work with our sites and customers in helping to determine appropriate NDT and special processes requirements and processes. The successful candidate will have experience working with globally diverse teams, communicating with senior leadership, managing challenging customer issues, leveraging the larger Aero organization for solutions, and solving complex problems where a degree of ambiguity exists. The individual will provide quality support to all global operations for Honeywell Aerospace sites, other contract SP auditors and help with oversight of the Aero quality management system related to the role.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop strategies for successful planning and execution of the Nadcap audits, with emphasis on site compliance.\n\nProvide support in maintaining the Nadcap certification process for all locations.\n\nEnsure compliance with all industry and customer requirements at sites.\n\nProvide SME Leadership to the Special Process Network audit process to ensure schedule compliance, auditor qualification, process improvement, and corrective action.\n\nParticipating in customer quality improvement plans (QIP) related to special processes as required.\n\nCollaborate with site resources, product engineering, and the Product Action Committees (PAC) to drive product and manufacturing improvements that result in escape reductions and improved product reliability related to special processes.\n\nPerform risk analysis and drive mitigation actions including continuous improvement activities.\n\nUse project management tools to influence cross-functional departments and activities.\n\nFunction as Special Process, QMS process and procedural mentor for sites.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nU.S. citizenship.\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Technical discipline\n\n10+ years’ experience in a quality related function and an Aerospace production environmen\n\nExtensive knowledge of the AS9100 series of industry standards\n\nKnowledge of NADCAP Special Processes\n\nDirect experience with all elements of Honeywell’s Quality Management Systems and certifications\n\n5 years minimum Lead Auditor experience\n\nThis position may travel 75%.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nQualified auditor to industry requirements for AS9100 and two or more special processes\n\nAbility to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others\n\nConsiderable experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, and repair and overhaul environments\n\nSix Sigma Lean, Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification\n\nDemonstrated proficiency in project management\n\nOut of box thinking\n\nSuccessful application of RCCA and CAMP processes\n\nAdept in soliciting facts and opinions from all team members, and creating a constructive, diverse, and open environment\n\nCompensation & Work Schedule\nFull-Time hourly, full benefits position (30-39 hours a week). The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $51-56 an hr. per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity.\nThis position is expected to work approximately 30-39 hours per week.
