Working alongside industry experts, you will support projects from concept design through to construction and commissioning, delivering innovative technical solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards and regulatory obligations.\nThe Opportunity\nThis role offers the opportunity to:\nDeliver security and communications projects across Defence, Transport, Maritime, Energy and Water sectors.\nDesign integrated security systems including CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, perimeter protection and associated ICT infrastructure.\nWork with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative and practical solutions.\nContribute to technical assurance, compliance and the implementation of industry best practice.\nBuild relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and project partners across Australia.\nSupport the growth of KBR's National Security Practice through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWho are you?\nYou are a collaborative security professional who combines technical expertise with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You enjoy solving complex challenges and delivering successful project outcomes within multidisciplinary teams.\nYou will bring:\nAustralian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.\nDegree or formal qualifications in Protective Security, Counter Terrorism, Security & Intelligence, Telecommunications Engineering, Security Risk Management or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5+ years' experience delivering security and communications projects across government, infrastructure or commercial sectors.\nExperience delivering complex security and communications solutions while meeting scope, program and technical requirements.\nStrong understanding of security management systems, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and telecommunications networks.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach to project delivery.\nCurrent Security Consultant/Adviser Licence (NSW Class 2A) or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one upon commencement.\nHighly regarded:\nSCEC Endorsed Security Zone Consultant accreditation or ASIS PSP certification.\nExperience working within Defence or Commonwealth environments and familiarity with PSPF and ISM frameworks.\nExperience delivering integrated physical and electronic security solutions on major projects\nAbout us\nKBR’s Infrastructure Solutions business works with customers across the nation to plan, design and deliver smarter, safer and more sustainable infrastructure to meet the demands of the future for all Australians.
