Details are listed in the Qualifications Section below.\nThe KBR Senior Capture Manager will serve as a Capture lead within KBR’s Exploration and Logistics (E&L) business unit. Customers include a broad selection of Federal Civilian Government agencies with a specific focus on GSA AAS/Fedsim procurements for high-performance computing (HPC), AI, cloud, and mission programs. The Capture lead will be responsible for leading, developing, maturing, and winning new large, prime business.\nPrimary work location will be Columbia, MD with assigned customers based across the US. Position can be 100% remote depending on location.\nApproximately 20-40% of work time will be on travel to client locations.\nResponsibilities:\nCapture ownership of assigned opportunities in support of KBR’s growth mission and vision\nResponsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals\nRoutinely assignment of 2-3 large ($100M+) solicitation pursuits at various stages of the capture lifecycle primarily in the federal market\nConceptualize a winning strategy, develop a capture plan that implements the strategy and translates into win themes, discriminators, and scorable strengths, adjusts the strategy as the procurement unfolds, and drive the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the strategy through final proposal submission\nPlan, lead, execute capture activities to include: \nParticipate in developing a healthy pipeline of new opportunities\nQualify and assess the “win-ability” of new opportunities\nDevelop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer’s requirements, challenges, issues, and needs during the capture phase and lead solutioning/planning sessions with the capture team\nCoordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices\nLead milestone/gate reviews, black hat sessions, solution sessions, blue teams, and support proposal reviews\nLead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts\nLead the development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assigned\nApply KBR capture management best practices to each pursuit, including creating and disseminating capture artifacts-call reports, B&P budgets, win plans, solution documentation, key strengths statements\nBrief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as requested\nCreating winning solutions\nWinning large new business programs\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree and a total of 12+ years of experience that includes 8+ years of industry experience and 4+ years of experience in business development\nExperience winning new business single award contracts valued over $100M\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience will be accepted in lieu of degree\nMust have a demonstrable history of winning large prime, single award, non-IDIQ contracts\nDemonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace\nWorking knowledge and experience within a mature, industry-leading capture organization targeting space and engineering support\nAn ability to drive profitable financial outcomes on each capture with demonstrated understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE development\nProven success in the following discipline(s): Business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, civil space programs, civilian federal technology programs, AAS/GSA acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification\nDemonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions\n\nBasic Compensation:\n$174,700-$262,000\nThe offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
