In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role - protecting our national security.\nWhy Join Us?\nInnovative Projects: KBR’s work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.\nCollaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.\nImpactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage two to four capture efforts in various stages for award within 18 months\nAccountable for pursuit end to end, from opportunity identification to proposal submission\nCoordinate with growth organization, corporate functional, and operational teams to execute pursuits\nEnsure quality of all capture and proposal artifacts and products\nEnsure smooth hand-off of information and responsibility between teams supporting the pursuit throughout different phases \nDevelop capture artifacts such as (but not limited to): Win themes, proof points, past performance candidate identification, proposal resource requirement identification, risk mitigations, B&P budget, capture snapshot and milestone reviews, etc) \nDevelop the opportunity through diligent and timely influencing of customers and by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration \nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and align company capabilities as an innovative industry leader \nDevelop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in assigned markets \nConduct competitive analysis \nDevelop and document effective win strategies including teaming and pricing strategies \nDevelop and write RFI responses\nDemonstrate solid business acumen in all capture pursuit decisions \nParticipate in the identification of potential acquisition targets \nWork Environment:\nLocation: On-site\nTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%\nWorking Hours: Standard\nRequired Qualifications:\n Security clearance requirement: Active TS/SCI clearance is required\nMinimum 10 years of experience with demonstrated success in capture of Intel Community contracts valued greater than $200M\nMinimum 5 years of experience in project or program management\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience will be accepted in lieu of degree\nDemonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace\nWorking knowledge and experience within a mature, industry-leading capture organization targeting space and engineering support\nAn ability to drive profitable financial outcomes on each capture with demonstrated understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE development\nProven success in the following discipline(s): Business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, USSF programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification\nDemonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in a business, science or science related curriculum\nBasic Compensation: $200,000.00 - 240,000.00\nThis range is for the Virginia area only\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
