You will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models and design documentation using Revit MEP, AutoCAD and other digital engineering tools, ensuring designs are coordinated, constructible and aligned with project requirements, Australian Standards and client expectations.\nWorking closely with electrical engineers and multidisciplinary design teams, you will contribute to project delivery from concept through detailed design and construction, helping to shape a transformative piece of infrastructure that will serve Melbourne's growing communities for generations to come.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop detailed 3D electrical models and associated design documentation using Revit MEP, AutoCAD and other relevant modelling platforms. \nSupport the development and delivery of electrical design solutions from concept through to detailed design and construction phases. \nPrepare high-quality electrical drawings and documentation in accordance with Australian Standards, client requirements and project specifications. \nModel and coordinate electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications, security, earthing, lightning protection, station services, depot facilities and associated rail infrastructure systems. \nCollaborate closely with electrical engineers, project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. \nParticipate in design reviews, BIM coordination activities and interdisciplinary workshops. \nManage and deliver allocated electrical discipline work packages in accordance with project requirements. \nIdentify, troubleshoot and resolve modelling, coordination and design issues. \nCoordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, track, systems and rail disciplines. \nEnsure all work is completed to agreed standards of quality, cost and schedule. \nContribute innovative ideas to improve project performance, constructability, efficiency and technical outcomes. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and digital engineering best practices. \nMaintain a strong commitment to safety, quality and sustainability. \n\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nAssociate Diploma, Diploma in Engineering, Advanced Diploma or a related qualification (highly regarded). \nExperience as an Electrical Designer, Drafter or Modeller within transport, rail, buildings, Defence, utilities, energy or major infrastructure projects. \nProficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD. \nDemonstrated experience developing electrical models and drawings for building services, transport infrastructure and/or high-voltage electrical systems. \nUnderstanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, communications, security, fire and life safety systems and associated infrastructure. \nExperience producing accurate electrical drawings and models with minimal supervision. \nExperience working within multidisciplinary project teams in a BIM environment. \nFamiliarity with BIM processes, model coordination and digital engineering workflows. \nExperience using Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Revizto will be highly regarded. \nKnowledge of PDF review and mark-up software such as Bluebeam or PDF-XChange. \nExperience on rail, transport, buildings, Defence, utilities or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded. \nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. \nExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. \nA commitment to safety, environmental and quality standards. \nWhy join KBR?\nAt KBR, we partner with our clients and delivery partners to deliver exceptional outcomes - driven by collaboration, technical excellence and our One Team approach.\nWith nearly 2,000 employees across Australia, we offer:\nAccess to iconic projects in Transport, Energy and Defence. \nGenuine opportunities for professional development, certification and career progression. \nA collaborative, people-first culture where you are valued and supported. \nFlexible work arrangements and work/life balance. \nNational career pathways and exposure to multidisciplinary teams. \nJoin a team where people matter, your expertise is respected, and your work directly shapes critical Australian infrastructure.\nKBR Values:\nOur KBR Values - We Value Our People, We Deliver, We Are People of Integrity, We Empower, We Are a Team of Teams - embody our people centric organisation.\nOur culture, and our genuine focus on our people is a major factor in our success and we want you to be part of our journey.\nHelp shape tomorrow by applying today!\nDon’t miss out on this opportunity to leave your impact on our society with one of Australia’s leading infrastructure businesses.
