This role offers a rare opportunity to join the organization during a pivotal period of growth and transformation, helping build and support enterprise data integration, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities that will position the company for long-term success while serving critical government and commercial missions around the world.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and support enterprise ETL processes and data integration solutions utilizing Informatica technologies.\nPartner with business users and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nDevelop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational requirements.\nBuild and support data warehouse, data mart, and business intelligence solutions designed to meet evolving business needs.\nPerform data analysis, impact assessments, and troubleshooting activities to support development, maintenance, and enhancement projects.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data processing workflows to ensure performance and scalability.\nCoordinate data development initiatives and implement new structures, interfaces, and processes to improve data accessibility and efficiency.\nSupport data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, and best practices.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support releases, deployments, testing activities, and change management processes.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the data engineering function.\nBasic Qualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.\nMinimum seven (7) years of experience developing ETL and data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.\nMinimum five (5) years of experience using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Data Integration.\nExperience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.\nExperience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases in enterprise environments.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong understanding of data analysis, data modeling, database design, and relational database concepts.\nExperience developing ETL workflows, mappings, transformations, and integrations using Informatica technologies.\nExperience loading and transforming data from multiple data sources into enterprise data warehouses and analytical environments.\nExperience with Oracle database technologies, including indexing, stored procedures, materialized views, and performance optimization.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server databases and advanced SQL development.\nExperience performing SQL tuning, performance optimization, and data validation activities.\nExperience utilizing metadata, impact analysis, and data governance methodologies.\nSkills & Capabilities\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.\nExperience mentoring team members and contributing to collaborative project delivery.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Informatica IDMC Web Services and command line utilities.\nExperience loading and integrating Excel-based data sources into enterprise databases using Informatica IDMC.\nExperience with enterprise job scheduling and workload automation tools.\nExperience with SQL development tools such as Toad or SQL Developer.\nExperience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting.\nExperience supporting cloud-based data integration and modernization initiatives.\nAdditional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
