You will be responsible for maintaining and improving critical platforms across networking, servers, storage and backup technologies, while contributing to operational resilience, security and ongoing infrastructure improvement initiatives. The role offers broad exposure across enterprise technologies and the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges and high impact operational outcomes.\nThe successful candidate must hold a Baseline security clearance or higher.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport and maintain enterprise infrastructure across network, server, storage, backup and virtualisation platforms.\nConfigure, administer and optimise complex Cisco network environments, including Cisco ISE, Cisco NDFC, Nexus switching, Leaf-Spine architectures, VXLAN and SD-WAN technologies (Viptela and/or Meraki).\nManage and support secure network services, including Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs and remote connectivity solutions.\nAdminister F5 BIG-IP load balancing platforms and Azure cloud networking services.\nSupport Windows, Linux and VMware environments, ensuring high availability, performance and security.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking and connectivity issues across multiple technology domains.\nPerform upgrades, patching, monitoring, lifecycle management and capacity planning activities.\nSupport backup, recovery, disaster recovery testing and operational resilience initiatives.\nContribute to incident, problem and change management processes, ensuring reliable and secure service delivery.\nAs the ideal candidate you will bring:\nRequired:\nAustralian citizenship and Baseline security clearance or higher\nStrong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Nexus switching, Cisco ISE, SD-WAN and modern data centre networking concepts.\nExperience supporting Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise network security environments.\nExperience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers and Azure cloud networking.\nStrong knowledge of routing, switching, network segmentation, VPNs and network security principles.\nExperience supporting Windows Server, Linux and VMware environments.\nProven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across enterprise infrastructure platforms.\nStrong understanding of operational best practices, including monitoring, patching, documentation and change control.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nDesirable:\nExperience within Defence, Government or other highly regulated environments.\nExposure to enterprise storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies.\nExperience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible or Terraform.\nExposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments.\nAll candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
