We can only consider applicants with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom\nSENIOR PLANNER\nTo provide and maintain a comprehensive Planning framework and service for either a major project, multi-project portfolio or business area.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nJob Specific Accountabilities\nProvide and manage the planning framework, systems and resources to deliver an effective planning and reporting service to Project Managers and Sponsors.\nFacilitate the production of the project WBS.\nPrepare, monitor and forecast baseline and working schedules during all project phases.\nEstablish and maintain a Basis of Schedule for all schedules produced.\nEnsure all applicable schedule activities have Rules of Credit and Quantity Tracking mechanisms established.\nIdentify and track all changes or potential changes to the project baseline and subsequent underpinning of change control mechanisms.\nPrepare progress reports, including earned value analysis, identifying critical areas and trends and recommend recovery options.\nMaintain the planning database and validate data across systems.\nProvide the required information to support the risk process.\nProvide project outturns against baseline\nSupervises Planning Engineers and Assistant Planning Engineers in the discharge of the Planning service.\nMentor and support Planning Engineers and Assistant Planning Engineers in their development.\nPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures\nDevelop Basis of Schedule\nContributes to the Project Controls Plan\nCOMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:\nInternal\nDaily contacts with all levels for work associated with Facilities and Engineering for obtaining or giving information and any kind of support required.\nProject Management teams\nProject Controls Manager, Planners and Associates\nExternal\nClient Project Controls representatives.\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nMinimum Qualification\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience\nMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills\nMinimum Experience\nExtensive experience in planning, scheduling and coordination of inspection and maintenance activities in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.\nAdvance P6 skills\nAdvanced Excel skills\nKnowledge & Skills\nVery good knowledge of spoken and written English\nGood knowledge of multi discipline activities in plants and its' sequences and quality/integrity aspects.\nGood Planning and Coordination Skills\nProfessional Certifications\nAny relevant certificate would be an
