The Senior Proposal Manager will play a crucial role in leading the proposal development process, ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, compliant, and complete proposals that meet client requirements. We take pride in our ability to make a significant impact within our organization, and we're looking for individuals who are eager to contribute and grow with us.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nProposal Leadership:\nLead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP analysis to submission.\n\nCoordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather necessary information for proposal content.\n\nProvides leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.\n\nProposal Planning and Scheduling:\nDevelop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.\n\nIdentify and allocate resources effectively to meet proposal requirements.\n\nContent Development:\nWrite, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.\n\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information into compelling proposals.\n\nQuality Assurance:\nConduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet the highest quality standards.\n\nImplement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.\n\nEngagement with Business\nDevelopment and Operations:\nInteract with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.\n\nFoster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.\n\nKnowledge Management:\nContribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree and 12+years of direct proposal management experience managing complex Government bids of $100M+ , 3 of which should be in management. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.\nDemonstrated ability delivering proposals that are compliant with the RFP requirements and are consistent with the direction of the capture team\nTrack-record of success in developing winning, compliant, compelling proposals\nExperience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred\nBasic Compensation:\n$151,700-$227,600\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
