management to the project commercial team, ensuring that all aspects of project contract administration are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner\nKey Responsibilities\nSubcontract procurement & management, and general project commercial actions\nManagement & coaching of junior project commercial staff\nProduction and management of procurement schedule\nDelivery and accountability for the procurement of framework Subcontractors as well as internal and external project commercial targets\nEngagement with project stakeholders\nThe Person\nAccountabilities\nEnsure the accuracy of data communicated and reported to all stakeholders\nEnsure the procurement files are maintained to a professional standard\nEnsure the project team are providing the key contract documents in a timely manner\nBe the single point of contact for the supply chain during the procurement process\nThe highlighting of any current and potential issues to the commercial manager\nMaintain compliance with approved processes procedures and project executive plans\nThe active contribution to continuous improvement of the functional quality and performance of Quantity Surveying\nTo work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan\nQualifications and Experience\nSupervisory/management experience within a project commercial team\nKnowledge and/or experience of the procurement / management of Subcontracts\nBSc in related subject or equivalent experience\nChartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage, but not essential.\nExcellent knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects\nExperience of a Contract Management System (CEMAR etc)\nCapable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance\nDue to the nature of our work and
