You will lead a team of analysts responsible for evaluating Radar/Guidance system performance data from Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises, and Real-World Events and producing system assessments. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail who enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additionally, this position requires effective collaboration and communication skills. This job is seeking a motivated individual with leadership skills who can proactively identify and solve complex technical and business challenges. Come be a part of the team ensuring the continued success of the Army’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense portfolio.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop a deep understanding of the radar(s) including requirements and operations, focusing on radar search, track, electronic counter measures, discrimination and missile guidance functions\nDefine metrics, analyze data, and assess system performance\nProvide direct support to the Warfighter by responding to Requests for Information including analyzing Real-World data and collaborating with the team to provide recommendations for enhanced performance\nSupport test events (Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises) by defining requirements and objectives, observing/executing tests, analyzing test data, and contributing to test reports\nPrepare and present briefings to various audiences, including USG, Warfighters, and high levels of leadership\nReview and track software changes and system requirements\nProvide technical and task guidance to a team of Radar/Guidance analysts\nMay participate in the development of technical proposals for new and/or existing business opportunities\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field\n7-15 years of experience in Radar or Guidance analysis for a Missile Defense System\nDemonstrable understanding of Radar signal and data processing methods\nAbility to travel up to 15%\nCandidate must be a US Citizen\nCandidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficiency in a high-level programming language (MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.)\nDemonstrable leadership and management skills\nAdvanced degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field\nExperience in interface analysis for a major Missile Defense System, including Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises, Real-World data\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
