These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nKBR is looking for a SMR/AMR Nuclear Project Director, who is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of nuclear projects, from planning and development to execution and timely delivery. This high-impact role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in nuclear project management, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This role is highly strategic and collaborative, ensuring the delivery of multi-billion-dollar projects while navigating the complexities of the nuclear industry.\nWith general autonomy, this Program Director can also manage large EPC projects having a TIC value, typically, of up to $1 billion. Alternatively, may have responsibility for management of two or more smaller projects.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nProvides strategic direction and oversight for SMR/AMR projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.\nAssures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success.\nDelivers expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget and schedule performance.\nServes as prime point of contact between the client and company.\nAssures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.\nManages and coordinates activities of all project personnel by direct supervision, through subordinates or through joint ventures, alliances, etc.\nIn the proposal phase, works closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements. May serve as a proposal manager.\nDefines precise scope of work and identify changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement.\nNegotiates changes with the client.\nPlans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.\nKeeps the client and company advised of project status.\nLeads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project.\nAbides by our business ethics.\nJob role is independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization or a single profit/loss or revenue center, major product line, or support function.\nLeads and develops project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nWorks closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, suppliers, and local communities, ensuring alignment and effective communication.\nIdentifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with project execution, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and quality assurance standards.\nChampions process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.\nEnsures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations related to nuclear construction and operations.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nAn undergraduate degree in Engineering and possession of a P.E.
