These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design and engineering capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\n Job Title: Sr. 3D Model Application Engineer - Offshore Water Injection Project\nKBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently looking to fill a position of Sr. 3D Model Application Engineer for an Offshore Project to be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi.\nJob Purpose\nThe Sr. 3D Model Application Engineer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and optimizing 3D engineering design models and digital engineering applications for the Offshore Water Injection Project. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficient utilization of 3D modeling systems throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning phases, supporting multidisciplinary design coordination, clash detection, brownfield integration, and project digitalization initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\n3D Modeling & Digital Engineering\nAdminister and manage project 3D modeling platforms and databases.\nDevelop and maintain project 3D model execution plans, workflows, and standards.\nEnsure model consistency, quality, and compliance with project specifications.\nCoordinate multidiscipline model development including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.\nMonitor model progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.\nModel Integration & Coordination\nIntegrate engineering data from multiple disciplines into the project 3D model.\nConduct interdisciplinary model reviews and clash detection sessions.\nIdentify and resolve design conflicts and interface issues.\nCoordinate model updates based on design changes and Management of Change (MOC) requirements.\nSupport constructability and operability reviews through model visualization.\nBrownfield & Offshore Modifications\nSupport brownfield laser scan integration and as-built model validation.\nManage incorporation of existing offshore facility data into project models.\nCoordinate tie-in and modification modeling activities.\nEnsure accurate representation of existing structures, equipment, and piping systems.\nSupport offshore surveys and data collection activities when required.\nEngineering Systems Administration\nConfigure and maintain engineering software environments.\nManage project model databases and user access controls.\nEnsure system performance, data integrity, and backup procedures.\nSupport software upgrades, customization, and troubleshooting.\nDevelop and maintain project naming conventions and data management standards.\nDigital Quality Assurance\nPerform model audits and quality checks.\nValidate model accuracy against engineering deliverables.\nEnsure compliance with client CAD standards and project procedures.\nMonitor model maturity throughout project execution.\nGenerate model quality reports and corrective action plans.\nConstruction & Commissioning Support\nDevelop 3D construction work packages and visualization tools.\nSupport construction sequencing and installation planning.\nGenerate model-based reports, drawings, and material take-offs.\nAssist commissioning teams with model navigation and verification.\nSupport digital handover and asset information management activities.\nTraining & Technical Support\nProvide guidance and technical support to design teams.\nConduct training sessions on 3D modeling applications and workflows.\nDevelop user guides and best-practice documentation.\nSupport project teams in maximizing the effectiveness of digital engineering tools.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or related discipline.\nCertification in AVEVA E3D, SP3D, or equivalent 3D modeling applications preferred.\nAdditional qualifications in Digital Engineering or BIM Management are advantageous.\nExperience\n10-15+ years of experience in engineering design and 3D model administration within Oil & Gas projects.\nMinimum 5 years in a senior 3D modeling or application engineering role.\nExtensive experience supporting offshore EPC projects and brownfield modifications.\nProven experience in multidiscipline model coordination and administration.\nADNOC Offshore or Middle East project experience highly preferred.\nExperience with offshore facilities, water injection projects, and digital engineering workflows is desirable.\nTechnical Competencies\n3D Modeling
