The ADNOC PMC project role would be based initially in Contractors Office/ Fabrication Yard Office in Abu Dhabi for some time and then will later move to Offshore Site on 6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off rotation.\nJob Purpose\nThe Senior Construction-Installation Engineer - Structures is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the offshore construction, load-out, transportation, installation, hookup, and commissioning support activities related to Jackets, Wellhead Towers (WHTs), and associated offshore structural facilities.\nThe role provides technical leadership throughout project execution, ensuring offshore installation activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, client requirements, and international offshore standards. The position acts as the key interface between engineering, fabrication, marine operations, offshore construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nConstruction & Installation Engineering\nLead construction and offshore installation engineering activities for jackets, WHTs, and structural components.\nReview and validate installation methodologies, procedures, and execution strategies.\nEnsure constructability requirements are incorporated during engineering and fabrication stages.\nSupport preparation of offshore installation work packs and execution plans.\nCoordinate engineering support during offshore installation campaigns.\nMonitor construction and installation performance against project schedules and milestones.\nOffshore Structural Installation\nManage and supervise installation activities for:\nWellhead Towers (WHTs)\nJackets and Jacket Appendages\nPile-Supported Structures\nBoat Landings\nConductors and Conductor Guide Frames\nFoundation Structures and Brackets\nSecondary Steel Structures\nHelideck Support Structures\nRisers and Structural Supports\nBrownfield Structural Modifications\nLoad-Out & Transportation\nCoordinate structural load-out activities from fabrication yards.\nReview sea-fastening arrangements and transportation engineering studies.\nEnsure safe handling and transportation of offshore structures.\nCoordinate marine spread activities, including barges, tugs, and support vessels.\nParticipate in transportation risk assessments and readiness reviews.\nOffshore Installation Execution\nSupport execution of offshore lifting, upending, positioning, piling, and installation activities.\nCoordinate vessel mobilization and offshore construction resources.\nMonitor installation progress and resolve site engineering issues.\nEnsure installation activities comply with project execution plans and approved procedures.\nReview daily offshore reports and provide technical recommendations where required.\nCoordinate interface activities between marine, construction, and commissioning teams.\nEngineering Review & Technical Support\nReview installation analyses, lift studies, rigging plans, and construction drawings.\nEvaluate and resolve technical queries, field change requests, and construction deviations.\nParticipate in HAZID, SIMOPS, constructability, and risk assessment workshops.\nSupport management of technical modifications during project execution.\nProvide engineering solutions for offshore construction challenges.\nHSE Responsibilities\nPromote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.\nEnsure offshore construction activities are executed according to approved risk assessments and method statements.\nParticipate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigations.\nMonitor compliance with permit-to-work and lifting procedures.\nDrive continuous improvement in offshore construction safety performance.\nStakeholder Coordination\nInterface with Engineering, Fabrication, Marine Operations, Hook-up, Commissioning, and Project Controls teams.\nCoordinate with installation contractors, vessel operators, and subcontractors.\nAttend client meetings, technical reviews, and progress reporting sessions.\nProvide construction input for project planning and decision-making processes.\nQuality Assurance & Control\nEnsure compliance with project quality plans and inspection requirements.\nVerify installation records, as-built documentation, and construction dossiers.\nSupport closure of punch list items and project handover activities.\nParticipate in audits, inspections, and lessons-learned reviews.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.\nMaster's Degree is an advantage.\nProfessional Certifications (Preferred)\nPMP Certification\nOffshore Construction Safety Training (BOSIET/HUET)\nLifting and Rigging Certification\nHSE-related certifications\nExperience\nMinimum 15-18 years of offshore construction and installation experience within Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI projects.\nMinimum 5 years in a Senior Construction, Installation Engineering, or Offshore Execution role.\nProven experience in the installation of:Offshore Jackets\nWellhead Towers (WHTs)\nPile Structures\nBoat Landings\nStructural Modules\nOffshore Platforms\nBrownfield Modifications\n\nExperience managing offshore construction campaigns and marine spread operations.\nPrevious Middle East and offshore GCC project experience is highly
