In this role, you will manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle Server databases, oversee database backup and recovery processes, and support the development and implementation of database standards across the organization. You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and ensure compliance with IT governance and data management policies. This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and occasional work outside normal business hours to support global operations.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nAdminister, maintain, and optimize Oracle Server environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure system stability, availability, and performance\nPerform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Server instances, ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure standards\nImplement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to support business continuity\nMonitor database performance and system health, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to capacity, performance, and reliability\nManage database security, including user access controls, encryption, and audit compliance in accordance with corporate IT policies\nSupport the design, deployment, and maintenance of Oracle Server clustering, replication, and Always On Availability Groups\nCollaborate with infrastructure, storage, and network teams to ensure optimal database performance and system integration\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, including standard operating procedures, architecture diagrams, and configuration baselines\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and respond to critical incidents affecting database operations\nEnsure adherence to IT governance, change management, and compliance standards for all database systems\nContribute to automation, monitoring, and performance-tuning initiatives to improve database reliability and administrative efficiency\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in database administration, including the installation, configuration, and management of enterprise-scale Oracle Server environments.\nMust have in-depth experience working in ORACLE Real Application Cluster (RAC/ASM), RDBMS 12c/18c/19c, DATAGUARD, RMAN on Linux and Windows platform\nWorking experience in ORACLE RAC WebLogic, ORACLE APEX, ORACLE FORMS/REPORTS, ORACLE Enterprise Manager, Linux shell scripting and Perl, Python, Powershell scripting\nProven experience in the building, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of ORACLE RAC databases with ASM and DATAGUARD environments in Linux platforms in a 24x7 environment with minimum downtime.\nStrong troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning and proactive monitoring skills with strong organizational skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills\nAbility to work independently and keep management adequately informed\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nMicrosoft SQL Server and Azure SQ expertise is a big plus\nWork Authorization & Location:\nCandidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).
