These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nSummary Section\nCandidate will be responsible for Piping Design of Technology Projects in association with KBR’s Technology Business Unit at Houston\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms stress and support engineering related activities for assigned project and activity. Conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/ compressors/ reactors etc.\nStress analysis and supporting of non-metallic piping like PTFE, Glass, Glass lined etc.\nConversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.\nProvides resolution of technical issues related to stress and supports engineering.\nPrioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverables.\nConversant with special support design, Vendor interaction for springs, Expansion joints etc.\nConduct stress analysis for piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide engineering solutions and support project execution.\nPerform structural analysis of piping components and support structures.\nReview and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and other relevant project documents.\nProvide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.\nInterface with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.\nProficient in using industry-standard software for stress analysis (e.g., Caesar II).\nStrong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, EN, BS etc.). · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.\nQualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:\nRelevant experience of 10-15 years in Piping stress Analysis.\nGraduate in B.Tech./ B.E.(Mechanical)\nComfortable in travelling for work.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nBelong.
