These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nResponsibilities:\nThe QC Engineer - role is a senior quality control position responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications throughout the manufacturing and inspection lifecycle of Modular & Furnace projects and associated systems.\nProvide technical guidance on quality, welding, and NDE requirements for process equipment, process piping, structural steel fabrication.\nReview vendor technical proposals to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.\nLead supplier qualification assessments, audits, and evaluations.\nConduct pre-inspection meetings with suppliers and stakeholders.\nReview and approve quality documents, including ITPs, welding procedures, weld records, PWHT procedures, NDE procedures, and testing documentation.\nPerform and oversee shop inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).\nCoordinate Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities and review inspection reports prior to release.\nDevelop Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) checklists based on project specifications and lessons learned.\nInterface effectively with suppliers, clients, engineering, procurement, and project teams on quality-related matters.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives through the development of quality processes, tools, and best practices.\nQualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.\n10 to 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a reputable organization.\nStrong experience in Modular projects, process piping, structural steel, skid packages fabrication and inspection in accordance with ASME, AWS, EN, and other international codes and standards.\nExperience with Process piping, ASME Code-stamped equipment, skid package fabrication quality control is desirable.\nIn-depth knowledge of welding, NDE, heat treatment, pressure testing, final inspection, and quality documentation.\nExperience in inspection and quality control of raw materials, fabrication processes, final product acceptance, and manufacturing records.\nExperience in witnessing and validating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems.\nExperience in witnessing and validating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for control valves, instrumentation systems, and related automation equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.\nSound understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.\nProficiency in Refractory and Painting Inspection Requirements will be preferred.\nExposure to KBR technology static equipment & packages is preferred.\nFamiliarity with materials such as CS, LTCS, low-alloy steels, stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys.\nMandatory:\nASNT Level II certifications in:PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing)MT (Magnetic Particle Testing)RT (Radiographic Testing)UT (Ultrasonic Testing)\nPreferred:\nCSWIP or equivalent welding certification.\nExperience in refractory and painting/coating inspections.\nExposure to KBR technology static equipment & packages\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nBelong.
