We can only consider applicants with the right to live and work in the United Kingdom\nSupplier Relationship Manager\nLocation - Westlakes Business Park, Moor Row, Cumbria\nThe expectation is to work at least three days in the office.\nTo deliver procurement and commercial support across PPP projects, with a focus on supplier engagement, relationship management and coordination of commercial processes.\nThe role operates at the interface between commercial and supply chain activities, supporting procurement delivery, supplier performance and contract administration. It contributes to ensuring that supplier relationships are effectively managed and aligned to project and programme objectives, while developing commercial capability within the PPP framework.\nKey Accountabilities\nProcurement & Commercial Delivery\nDeliver defined procurement activities including market engagement, tendering, evaluation and contract placement.\nSupport the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned to project and PPP requirement\nContribute to commercial processes including cost tracking, change support, contract administration and compliance.\nEnsure procurement and commercial decisions support value for money and project outcomes.\nSupplier Relationship Management (SRM Focus)\nDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.\nSupport structured supplier engagement, including meetings, performance reviews and action tracking.\nMonitor supplier performance, behaviours and delivery against contractual expectations.\nAct as a link between suppliers and project/commercial teams to ensure alignment and communication.\nSupply Chain & Project Interface\nWork closely with Commercial Managers, QS teams and Procurement Leads to support integrated delivery.\nSupport supplier mobilisation, onboarding and ongoing coordination across project lifecycle stages.\nEnsure supplier activities align with programme requirements, schedules and governance frameworks.\nGovernance, Risk & Compliance\nEnsure procurement and commercial activities comply with PPP governance frameworks and procedures.\nMaintain accurate, auditable records within approved PPP systems (e.g. CEMAR or equivalent).\nIdentify and escalate risks relating to supplier performance, procurement activities or commercial processes.\nPerformance & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to improving procurement, supplier management and commercial processes.\nSupport the delivery of value, efficiency and performance improvements across the supply chain.\nShare learning and support development of best practice across teams.\nKey Skills & Experience\nExperience in procurement, supply chain or commercial roles\nUnderstanding of procurement processes, contracts and supplier management\nStrong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines\nGood communication and relationship management capability\nDeveloping knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial principles\nQualifications (Desirable)\nDegree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Business, Supply Chain)\nExperience with CEMAR\nWorking towards professional qualification (e.g. CIPS, RICS)\nCapability Expectation
