An active TS/SCI clearance is required.\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms a variety of engineering work in the development of an operable system of systems capable of meeting requirements within imposed constraints including mass, cost and schedule.\nDesigns and/or researches system interfaces to ensure that subsystems are integrated and work together to form a viable complete end-to-end system.\nPerforms functional analysis of a kill chain to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams.\nFormulates, recommends, and directs operations and procedures to resolve engineering and/or technical problems regarding operations, staffing, and equipment utilization on a specific project or projects.\nDevelops acquisition roadmaps to ensure system development timelines meet operational requirements within need dates.\nProvides technical assistance and instruction relative to design problems and the resolution of construction or operating difficulties.\nConducts special studies and investigations related to project activities and recommends changes as appropriate to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet changed or new requirements.\nAnalyzes project requirements and provides information and instruction for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, designing, and modifying equipment as appropriate.\nAnticipates internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory/compliance issues. Recommends process, product, or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact.\nRequires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.\nMentors and advises project teams on projects with notable risk and complexity.\nDevelops the strategy for project execution. \nQualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance required\nBachelor’s degree in related field\n10 years of related experience\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with Space Combat Power programs\nMaster’s degree in related field\nWork Environment:\nLocation: Onsite\nWork Hours: Standard\nCompensation:\nFor California only, the salary range for this position is approximately $170,000 - $205,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nOther Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
