We are looking for the self-driven, the bold, the passionate Systems Engineers who will join KBR on an exciting journey of professional thrill and personal growth as the Team pursues and steps up to strategic Customer Enterprise-level challenges!\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform on an Independent Review Teams in support of specific Major System Acquisition milestones.\n\nWork with an experienced, systems engineering savvy team apprenticing and providing team continuity.\n\nUnder supervision, deliver foundational digital engineering (DE) approaches that ensure the engineering and MS&A processes are met.\n\nAssist technical teams and leadership in the implementation of MBSE methods and techniques.\n\nAssist in developing and supporting enterprise level digital engineering approaches, ensuring that models, data, and information are accessible, interconnected, and structured to support organizational goals.\n\nEnsure that systems engineering and MS&A processes covered in the SOW requirements are followed.\n\nSupport the federated modeling approach across the enterprise and mission partners.\n\nAdhere to the MBSE modeling methodology guidelines and principles established by the team.\n\nAbility to communicate modeling concepts and best practices to stakeholders at varying levels.\n\nBasic Compensation:\n$98,000 - $122,000 USD annually\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nWork Environment:\nLocation: On-site\n\nTravel Requirements: Minimal\n\nWorking Hours: Standard\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nMust possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.\n\nBachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of experience.\n\nFoundational understanding of systems engineering principles and familiarity with Digital Engineering (DE)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).\n\nBasic understanding of data concepts and technologies such as relational databases, ontology, Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML).\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nMasters degree in Systems Engineering or relative field.\n\nExposure to MBSE tools or coursework (e.g., SysML) is desired\n\nGeneral awareness of digital industry trends such as Cloud/IaC, Data Analytics, DevSecOps, AWS and/or Azure, Containerization/micro-services\n\nBasic knowledge or academic exposure to satellite or space-based technologies\n\nFamiliarity with Operations Research/Systems Analysis concepts\n\nIntroductory knowledge of Digital Thread or Digital Twin concepts\n\nWillingness to learn and grow within systems engineering disciplines\n\nReady to Make a Difference?\nIf you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
