The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations.\nUnder this contract, personnel provide maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals, safety standards, and performance requirements.\nJob Summary\nThe IT Specialist is responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting information technology systems, networks, cybersecurity programs, and end-user services that support installation operations and mission requirements. This position ensures the reliability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure by providing technical support, implementing technology solutions, maintaining system compliance, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. The IT Specialist works closely with users, leadership, vendors, and technical teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term technology initiatives.\nThis position is contingent upon award\nRoles and Responsibilities\nInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, servers, network equipment, and peripheral devices.\nProvide technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, system access, and network connectivity issues.\nAdminister user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with cybersecurity policies and organizational requirements.\nMonitor and maintain network and system performance to ensure reliability, availability, and security of IT services.\nImplement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including system updates, vulnerability remediation, security monitoring, and incident response activities.\nManage system backups, software inventories, technology assets, and disaster recovery processes to support continuity of operations.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration records.\nCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to support IT projects, system upgrades, and technology modernization efforts.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting computer systems, networks, servers, software applications, and end-user devices in an enterprise environment.\nKnowledge of system administration, networking, cybersecurity principles, and IT support best practices.\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and account access issues.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and common network technologies.\nProficiency with IT service management tools, system monitoring applications, and technical documentation practices.\nRelevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, A+, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar industry-recognized certifications are preferred.\nAbility to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)\nU.S. citizenship required\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, work location, and business considerations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
