The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations.\nUnder this contract, personnel provide maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals, safety standards, and performance requirements.\nJob Summary\nThe Lead Software Developer serves as a senior technical leader responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software solutions supporting TACOM systems and operations. This role leads development teams, ensures coding standards and best practices are followed, and delivers high-quality, secure, and scalable applications. The position is responsible for providing technical direction and solutions to program and business stakeholders.\nThis position is contingent upon award\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPerform as the technical expert with thorough understanding of the business applications associated to assigned projects.\nPerform as a project lead with the responsibility for the instruction, guidance, direction, and monitoring of the performance of assigned application & development projects.\nAssist in the scheduling and coordinating of conversion and developmental projects with requestors to include design, migration, data validation, and solution implementation phases of a project.\nWork with customers and technical staff in the development and resolution of software problems and respond to suggestions for application modifications or enhancements.\nParticipate in the development of end user manuals for all developed applications.\nAssist in the training of less experienced developer staff in the capacity as a team leader for complex projects.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Business Applications field and more than 10 years of relevant work experience is required.\nExperience with technology including, but not limited to, LMP/CAMS/SQL/BI/BO/SAP/Power Platform Applications/SharePoint.\n10 years of SAP experience including implementation of LMP (Logistics Management Program) Increment I & II and CAMS.\nVersed in creating reports/queries in Business Objects, Business Intelligence, MII, and object other oriented platforms.\nProcess development experience at WVA in the Arsenal Manufacturing environment.\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.\nStrong organizational skills.\nMust be able to speak, read and write English.\nAbility to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)\nU.S. citizenship required\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience supporting DoD, Army, or TACOM programs\nPrior government contracting experience\nAdditional Information\nThis position will be performed in office, data center, or operational environment that requires prolonged sitting, computer use, and occasional movement within facilities. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, work location, and business considerations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
