This role coordinates engineering disciplines, manages facility-specific technical interfaces, and ensures engineering\ndecisions support manufacturing objectives, technology transfer requirements, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and alignment with Lilly's established platform strategy.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead multidisciplinary design reviews, equipment verification activities, supplier coordination, operability and maintainability assessments, risk evaluations, and cross-functional alignment between engineering, manufacturing, quality, CQV, maintenance, and project controls organizations.\nWork closely with Lilly stakeholders, EPCM contractor(s), equipment suppliers, and the PMC team, the TF/SR/HS Process Engineer ensures equipment designs are technically sound, fit-for-purpose, capable of successful qualification and startup, and aligned with long-term manufacturing requirements.\nServe as an independent technical reviewer and integration resource across multiple manufacturing areas, helping identify and resolve design deficiencies, reduce lifecycle risk, and improve project execution certainty.\nRequired Education & Experience Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering.\nMinimum 10 years of experience with Process Equipment design and engineering.\nExperience with storage tank design, and hazardous storage design.\nStrong knowledge of engineering, design, constructability, operability, and maintainability best practices and code requirements for process equipment.\nExperience successfully coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for capital projects in excess of $500M TIC.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated facilities.\nPrior experience in an Owner’s Representative or PMC role for major capital projects in excess of $1B TIC.\nExperience supporting commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
