Your commitment to excellence aligns with KBR’s mission of operational readiness and reliable support for essential functions.\nWhat You WILL DO\nIn the role of Vehicle Mechanic, your duties will include:\nUsing manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle.\nExplaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers.\nPlanning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods.\nTesting parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.\nEnsuring all critical parts are checked and tested.\nPerforming basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires.\nRepairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a vehicle.\nThis is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMust possess an Active SECRET security clearance\nThree (3)+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance\nASE certifications in corresponding skills areas\nTechnically trained to work with computerized shop equipment and electronic components\nExperience and skills with traditional hand tools\nExperience and training in understanding and using vehicle electrical schematics.\nAbility to perform required administrative paperwork for vehicle repairs and diagnostics.\nBelong, Connect and Grow at KBR\nAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
