These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.\nKBR is seeking a Workforce & Community Partnerships Manager to lead workforce development and stakeholder engagement efforts in support of a major capital project. This role will build partnerships with educational institutions, workforce agencies, community organizations, elected officials, and economic development groups to support project staffing needs, strengthen community relationships, and maximize local economic benefits. The successful candidate will develop talent pipelines for skilled trades, technical, engineering, and operations roles while coordinating community engagement initiatives that support project objectives.\nFunctional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nDevelop and execute workforce development strategies that support project construction, commissioning, startup, and operational staffing needs.\nBuild partnerships with colleges, universities, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, workforce boards, and community organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines.\nMaintain relationships with local communities, elected officials, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and public-sector stakeholders.\nCoordinate local hiring, workforce readiness, internship, apprenticeship, and recruitment initiatives that support project workforce goals.\nMonitor labor market trends and workforce availability, providing recommendations to project leadership on staffing risks and opportunities.\nLead community outreach, educational partnerships, STEM initiatives, and other programs that enhance community engagement and project visibility.\nSupport workforce diversity and inclusion efforts by expanding access to employment and training opportunities.\nTrack key workforce and community engagement metrics and prepare reports for project leadership.\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Business, Community Development, Political Science, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in workforce development, community relations, government affairs, stakeholder engagement, external affairs, or a related discipline.\nExperience supporting large capital projects.\nStrong understanding of stakeholder engagement, workforce planning, and public-sector collaboration.\nExcellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.\nProven ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups, including government officials, community leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners.\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\nFamiliarity with EPC/EPCM project delivery environments.\nPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated industries.\nExperience with workforce development, economic development, and community investment programs.\nExperience supporting major capital projects in an Owner's Representative or PMC environment.\nKnowledge of permitting processes and regulatory stakeholder engagement.\nDecarbonization - Energy Transition - Sustainability\nKBR Benefits\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
