You will utilize your strong scientific foundation to assess assay performance, interpret data, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure the integrity and quality of study results.\nOur Flow Cytometry team utilizes advanced instrumentation and analytical techniques to support bioanalytical testing in drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including immunophenotyping, cell-based assays, and biomarker analysis in biological matrices.\nIn this role, we will rely on you to:\nIndependently execute and support flow cytometry studies from study setup through data generation, analysis, and reporting\nDevelop, optimize, qualify, validate, and transfer flow cytometry methods in support of preclinical and clinical studies\nDesign and optimize multiparametric flow cytometry panels, including selection and evaluation of antibody clones, fluorochromes, titrations, controls, sample matrices, and gating strategies\nPerform flow cytometry sample preparation, staining, data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation\nOperate conventional and spectral flow cytometry instrumentation, including platforms such as Cytek Aurora and BD flow cytometers\nDevelop and optimize assays utilizing biological matrices such as whole blood, fresh or cryopreserved PBMCs, bone marrow, tissue, and cell lines\nAnalyze and interpret complex flow cytometry data and prepare data summaries and presentations for internal and client reviews\nEvaluate assay performance characteristics including precision, accuracy, sensitivity, selectivity, stability, robustness, linearity, and other applicable parameters\nTroubleshoot complex assay, sample, reagent, instrumentation, and data analysis issues and develop scientifically sound solutions\nApply knowledge of immunology and cell biology to immunophenotyping, biomarker, and functional cellular assay applications\nSupport study activities involving applications such as immune profiling, receptor occupancy, target engagement, intracellular marker analysis, proliferation, and other functional cellular endpoints as applicable\nEnsure proper sample identification, handling, processing, storage, and tracking throughout study execution\nMaintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with study protocols, SOPs, and applicable regulatory and quality requirements\nReview and interpret scientific data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential risks to study execution or data quality\nPrepare and review protocols, study documentation, data summaries, and reports\nCommunicate scientific findings, study progress, technical challenges, and recommendations to project teams, management, and clients as appropriate\nProvide technical guidance and training to less experienced scientific staff\nCollaborate with Quality Assurance and other cross-functional teams to resolve study or data-related issues\nMaintain knowledge of current scientific, technological, and regulatory developments relevant to flow cytometry\nPerform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values\nTo qualify specifically for this role, you will have:\nBachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related scientific field\nAt least 4 years of relevant laboratory experience in flow cytometry, immunology, cell biology, bioanalysis, or a related area\nStrong hands-on experience with flow cytometry techniques and instrumentation\nExperience with spectral and/or conventional flow cytometry\nExperience with multiparametric flow cytometry, including panel design and optimization, staining, controls, data acquisition, gating strategies, and data interpretation\nExperience developing, optimizing, qualifying, validating, and/or transferring flow cytometry methods\nExperience working with biological matrices such as whole blood and PBMCs\nStrong understanding of immunology, cell biology, immunophenotyping, and cell-based assay principles\nExperience troubleshooting complex flow cytometry assays, reagents, instrumentation, and data quality issues\nExperience with flow cytometry data analysis software\nStrong understanding of assay performance characteristics and fit-for-purpose method development and validation\nExperience working within SOP-driven and regulated laboratory environments\nStrong technical documentation skills with a commitment to data integrity and scientific quality\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate scientific information effectively\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with scientific and cross-functional teams\nAbility to provide technical guidance and training to less experienced
