RESPONSIBILITIES: MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 10\nDetermine the internal audit scope for assigned areas and develop risk-based audit plans aligned with the Bank's strategy, risk profile and Internal Audit methodology.\nExecute risk-based audits and provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, including compliance with applicable policies, regulatory requirements and legislation.\nPerform independent reviews of lending models across the Bank, assessing model design and methodology, underlying assumptions, data, implementation, validation, performance monitoring and continued fitness for intended use.\nAssess the effectiveness of model risk governance, including model identification and inventory, ownership, development, independent validation, approval, implementation, change management, performance monitoring and management of model limitations.\nApply appropriate quantitative and data science techniques to independently test and challenge models, including, where applicable, back-testing, benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, stability testing, calibration and model performance assessment.\nApply advanced data analytics to audit engagements to interrogate large and complex datasets, identify anomalies and emerging risk patterns, assess control effectiveness and enhance audit coverage.\nAssess the adequacy of data used in models and key business processes, including data quality, completeness, accuracy, lineage and relevant data controls.\nDevelop and communicate clear, evidence-based audit findings and recommendations, translating complex modelling and data-related matters into understandable risk and control implications for relevant stakeholders.\nMaintain effective stakeholder relationships and provide appropriate technical input and advisory support on risk management, internal controls, governance, model risk and data-related matters while safeguarding Internal Audit's independence.\nStay abreast of emerging developments in banking, regulation, model risk, data science, artificial intelligence and internal audit, and contribute to the enhancement of Internal Audit's
