You will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and fostering strong client relationships. Your expertise in construction management, coupled with your leadership abilities, will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.\nThe key responsibilities of this role include:\nConstruction Management and Leadership:\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular performance feedback and identifying client needs and future projects. \nEstablish strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and design engineers. \nManage the work routine of all assigned staff, assigning job activities as required. \nConsult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as necessary. \nEnsure the effective use of equipment and personnel. \nSupervise subordinate construction inspectors and provide assistance to project management as required.\nIdentity, implement, and adhere to safe working practices.\nMaintain active participation in professional and business organizations. \nSubmit and deliver timely annual Employee Performance Appraisals for assigned staff.\nTraining, Development, and Compliance:\nMentor and train staff.\nUnderstand OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follow them at all times.\nProvide input to develop project-specific safety plans and implement project safety plans to ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations.\nEnsure projects comply with ISO standards.\nFinancial Management and Reporting:\nComplete all tasks on time and within budget while fully meeting project scope. \nManage project schedules to deliver projects on time and within budget. \nAssist with receivables management. \nAchieve or exceed budgets individual utilization targets. \nProject Execution and Technical Oversight:\nMaintain document control for correspondence, RFIs, submittals, etc. \nPrepare and analyze schedules and cost estimates. \nRead plans and specifications, understand the construction contractor’s means and methods.\nTest, document, and assure the quality of the contractor’s work. \nAnalyze change orders and disputes, making recommendations to the owner.\nSolve construction problems in the field efficiently. \nOther:\nAvailability for day and/or night work to support the contractor's schedule.\n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. \nQualifications\nEducation and/or Work Experience Required:\nRequires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or GED or 8 years with a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.\nProven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nAbility to maintain required certifications.\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred:\nProfessional license or certification within the field of expertise preferred. \nCCM\nPre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
