This role is common with cellular carriers, tower companies, and telecom contractors supporting LTE and 5G networks.\nKey Responsibilities\nCable installation (fiber, power)\nInstalling, configuring, and integrating equipment\nPerforming site commissioning and on-air testing for new cell sites\nIntegrating LTE, 5G, and legacy technologies into the carrier network\nVerifying alarms, connectivity, and system functionality after installation\nTroubleshooting integration issues involving radio, transport, fiber, and backhaul connections\nConducting acceptance testing and documenting results\nTransport tools and materials using company vehicles\nMaintain company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, safe, and operational conditions.\nComplete and submit accurate documentation, reports, logs, and project records.\nProvide exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships with customers and team members.\nFollow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and federal/state driving requirements.\nSupport additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nOther duties when required\nRequired Skills & Abilities\nLTE and 5G knowledge\nFiber and IP networking experience\nTroubleshooting and problem solving\nSamsung equipment experience\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP, routers, switches, and backhaul networks\nStrong documentation and reporting skills\nProvide your own active smart phone with the ability to install and support apps as needed for customers and KCI support.\nPreferred / Advanced Duties\nConduct site surveys\nWork independently on new site builds, upgrades, and technology swaps.\nConfigure network elements remotely using vendor tools.\nMentor junior technicians and coordinate field activities.\nSupport automation, scripting, and network management platforms.\nTravel Requirements\nExtensive regional travel required, up to 100%.\n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma/GED or minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. \nAbility to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures. \nPossess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently. \nWork effectively as a team member \nAbility to establish strong working relationships with various stakeholders.\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nValid Driver’s License \nAbility to maintain required certifications.\nPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
