This position offers hands-on experience supporting the design and development of entertainment-related projects, including unique structures and multidisciplinary engineering solutions, under the guidance of experienced engineers. Summer interns will work a 40-hour week, with at least 10 weeks of work required during the period from mid-May to the end of August. Interns will be assigned a dedicated supervisor and mentor, are required to attend planned activities. Responsibilities include:\nAssist with the design and development of structural systems for entertainment and specialty projects\nSupport testing of materials, preparation of specifications, and process studies\nContribute to research investigations and the preparation of reports and technical documentation\nCollaborate with internal teams and external partners on multidisciplinary design and engineering projects\nAssist with construction drawings for concrete, steel, and wood structures\nParticipate in field activities, site observations, and construction administration tasks as needed\nReview input from project managers and make adjustments to design work as directed\nGain exposure to all phases of design and project delivery within the entertainment engineering practice\nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nThis is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.\nCurrently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\n3.0 GPA or higher\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nValid Driver’s License\nPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
