The ideal candiate will have expeirence with pavement design and slope stability analysis. This perosn perform will geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for a wide range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination, and leadership in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.\nThe key responsibilities of this role include:\nProject Management and Leadership:\nChart and provide task performance results.\nAssess and document potential project impacts.\nManage work routines and assign job activities. \nAttend project team meetings. \nCoordinate with other practices and sub-consultants.\nServe as task manager of select projects.\nTraining, Development, and Compliance:\nAbility to mentor and train staff.\nComply with all KCI policies and procedures.\nEnsure projects comply with ISO standards.\nConduct employee performance appraisals, when applicable. \nFinancial Management and Reporting:\nMonitor project schedules and budgets throughout the project life.\nComplete all tasks on time and within budget while fully meeting project scope. \nOperate within specified (corporate or project) budget parameters.\nPrepare technical proposals and manage project budgets.\nAchieve or exceed budgets individual utilization targets. \nProject Execution and Technical Oversight:\nProvide technical project and staff oversight. \nPrepare avoidance or minimization recommendations. \nPrepare mitigation strategy and plan as required. \nCollect required field data using proper protocols and techniques. \nLead field surveys. \nProcess field data for inclusion in reports and deliverables.\nLead the development of and assemble organized, clear, and cohesive technical reports. \nOversee the production of design plans and reports. \nReview and interpret lab results. \nReview technical reports and provide QA/QC prior to submittal.\n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. \nQualifications\nEducation and/or Work Experience Required:\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Geography or related\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience. \nProven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects.\nA track record of successful project delivery.\nProficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and relevant analysis tools.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\nMaster’s Degree \nExperience working in natural resource mitigation and familiarity with stream and wetland restoration.\nPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
