We are looking for:\nExtensive experience performing structural analysis of various building elements and systems comprised of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum for both gravity and lateral loading conditions.\nExperience using structural design software including Ram Structural Systems, RISA3D, and AutoCAD/Revit.\nProven experience in managing building structural engineering projects.\nField experience and ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other disciplines.\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.\nFlorida Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Structural Engineering (SE) license is a plus. NCEES registration is a plus, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states.\nSkills, Duties & Responsibilities:\nServe as the engineer in responsible charge for assigned projects.\nAbility to multi-task and perform building and building-related structural design, including development of construction drawings for reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum structures for both gravity and lateral loading conditions. Review shop drawings, RFI’s, and perform site visits during the construction phase of projects. \nProficiency in developing construction documentation using AutoCAD and Revit. Lead the preparation of structural plans and specifications for construction documents. Ability to coordinate drafters and other engineers to produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings for bid and construction documents for buildings. \nLead staff engineers and engineer designers in the design process from schematic design through the completion of construction.\nLead project teams and collaborate with other disciplines. Coordinate the structural design with architectural and MEP designs.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam/Adobe. Experience with Ram Structural Systems, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and RISA3D.\nProviding mentoring and oversight of junior staff. Assist in the technical and professional development of junior staff through formal and informal training efforts.\nQA/QC of project work performed by staff engineers and engineer designers, including but not limited to: calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and code compliance.\nPlanning workload, tracking, and meeting budgets for structural tasks/projects.\nMaintain existing client relationships and help foster new client contacts and business opportunities. Work directly with clients to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project duration. \nExperience with all phases of design and providing construction administration/bid phase services.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.\nDemonstrated reliability, commitment to task and project completion, and success.\nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 6 years of related professional experience, or 10 years of equivalent professional experience.\nExperience should include a track record of expanding project management duties.\nProven experience in project management roles, with a focus on managing larger-scale projects or programs.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nProficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nEffective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong negotiation skills to manage contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\nMaster’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry)\nCertificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nAbility to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start date.\nPre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
