This internship is a full-time, hands-on opportunity designed to provide real-world exposure to construction projects and daily construction management operations. Interns will work a 40-hour week for a minimum of 10 weeks between mid-May and the end of August. Throughout the program, interns will support and learn from experienced Construction Managers while working under the supervision of a technical manager. Each intern will be paired with a dedicated supervisor and mentor and participate in planned program activities. This internship offers valuable experience across active construction projects and helps develop the technical, organizational, and professional skills essential for a career in construction management.\nResponsibilities include:\nEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and design engineers.\nComplete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.\nMaintain document control for all correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and other project-related documents.\nLearn to read and understand plans and specifications, including the construction contractor's means and methods.\nLearn to test, document, and ensure the quality of the contractor's work, adhering to project and industry standards.\nComplete other duties as required or assigned.\n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. \nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nThis is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.\nCurrently enrolled in a college construction management or related program.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\n3.0 GPA or higher preferred \nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nValid Driver’s License\nAbility to pass and maintain required certifications\nPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
