This person is also responsible for assisting in marketing and client development, technical quality, profitability, schedule, project staff coordination, client communications, scoping and negotiating scopes and fees, client follow-up, billing/collections and maintenance.\nThe Project Manager must maintain superior relationships with each of his/her clients. \nDirect communication with Survey Practice Leader is essential.\nThe Project Manager may manage several projects and tasks and will be responsible for completing those tasks simultaneously. Will be responsible for, but not limited to:\nPreparing the scope of services, detailed project budget and contract for the Practice Leader's review and approval. \nCoordinates project scheduling. \nConducting “kick-off” and interim project status meetings with the project team to discuss tasks, schedules, budgets, etc. \nCompleting each project on 'time and on budget\nMonitoring project schedules and budgets throughout the project life. \nLeading formal Project Reviews. \nAssuring that a QA/QC review is completed at the appropriate stages of each project. \nDetermining if a contract needs to be amended and immediately seeks approval of from the Client and supervisor when changes in a project’s budget or scope are necessary. \nServing as primary client contact for selected projects. \nMonitoring project’s adherence to company standards, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance specifications and CADD standards. \nAssist in documenting the performance of project team members through completion of Project Staff Reviews. \nCommunicating significant performance issues to team members and Practice Leader so that appropriate action may be taken completed at the appropriate stages of each project. \nDetermining if a contract needs to be amended and immediately seeks approval of from the Client and supervisor when changes in a project’s budget or scope are necessary. \nProfessional Land Surveyor’s License is preferred\nServing as primary client contact \n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 2 years of related professional experience, or 6 years of equivalent professional experience.\nParticipation in continuing education and professional development programs.\nPossess potential leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams.\nOrganizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nTechnical knowledge in the specific field of the project.\nKnowledge of project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.\nUnderstanding of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nNegotiation skills to manage contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively.\nAn understanding of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\nMaster’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry)\nProfessional Land Surveyor’s License\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nAbility to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start date.\nPre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. \nBackground and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon
