This position required a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication skills.\nThe key responsibilities of this role include:\nProject and Task Management\nManage the work routine of all assigned staff and assign job activities as required.\nMeet bi-weekly (or more frequently as necessary) with management to review marketing results. \nChart and provide task performance results.\nConsult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required. \nPrepare inter-practice agreements and/or outside requests as required. \nProvide input for monthly progress reports for all tasks.\nProject Execution and Technical Oversight:\nDraft, review, and produce accurate and attractive report graphics.\nDraft, review, and seal all plans and plats required for assigned projects. \nEnsure effective use of equipment and personnel within budget parameters.\nProvide technical oversight for projects and staff. \nReview research materials from Federal, state and local agencies.\nCompare field data to base plan and design plans.\nConduct field construction observations and prepare detailed reports of findings for review.\nConduct project site research and analysis to determine potential project density and intensity and identify development constraints.\nConduct site visits and gather data.\nPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for review and approval. \nPrepare preliminary concept designs for submit and approval. \nTraining, Development, and Compliance:\nMentor and train staff.\nComply with all KCI policies and procedures.\nEnsure projects comply with ISO standards.\nConduct and submit timely annual Employee Performance Appraisals for assigned staff. \nFinancial Management and Reporting:\nComplete all tasks on time and within budget while fully meeting project scope.\nOperate within specified (corporate or project) budget parameters.\nAssist with receivables management. \nAchieve or exceed budgets individual utilization targets. \n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. \nQualifications\nEducation and/or Work Experience Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience. \nProven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring Landscape Architecture projects.\nProven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\nMaster’s Degree preferred. \nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nRegistered Landscape Architect (RLA) License\nCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred:\nAdditional industry certifications\nPre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
