status.\nDuties, Responsibilities & Other\nProject delivery\nLead end-to-end delivery of telecom projects such as FTTH/FTTP builds, 5G and LTE site deployments, DAS and small-cell rollouts, data center interconnects, raw lands and core network upgrades.\nBuild integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, permitting and procurement.\nManage a portfolio of 3-8 concurrent projects, typically valued at $2M-$25M each.\nTrack milestones through design, permitting, construction, installation, testing, turn-up and acceptance.\nStakeholders and vendors\nAct as the primary point of contact for customers, municipalities, utilities and executive sponsors.\nCoordinate engineering, OSP/ISP construction, RF, network operations, procurement and finance teams.\nManage contractors and equipment vendors against SOWs, SLAs and change-order processes.\nSecure rights-of-way, pole attachments, zoning approvals and permits with field and regulatory teams.\nBudget, risk and governance\nOwn project financials: forecasting, earned value, capex tracking, invoicing and variance reporting.\nIdentify and mitigate risks such as supply chain delays, permitting backlogs, weather and labor constraints.\nEnsure compliance with FCC rules, OSHA safety standards, NEC and local codes, and company quality standards.\nReport status, KPIs and escalations to senior leadership through regular dashboards and steering reviews.\nLeadership and improvement\nMentor junior project managers and coordinators.\nImprove PMO processes, templates and tools, and capture lessons learned at project close.\nSupport pre-sales scoping, cost estimates and proposal development for new opportunities.\nRequired qualifications\nProject management experience, including 5+ years managing telecom infrastructure projects.\nProven delivery of projects with budgets of $5M or more and cross-functional teams of 15+ people.\nWorking knowledge of fiber optic, wireless (4G/5G), IP/MPLS or transport network technologies.\nExperience with permitting, rights-of-way and municipal or utility coordination.\nProficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet or Primavera P6, plus Excel and a ticketing or PSA tool.\nStrong financial management skills, including capex budgeting and forecasting.\nValid driver's license and ability to visit construction and network sites.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with BEAD or other government-funded broadband programs.\nFamiliarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methods for OSS/BSS and software-defined network projects.\nExperience with GIS and network design tools such as ArcGIS, 3-GIS or IQGeo.\nBackground working for a carrier, ISP, tower company or telecom engineering contractor.\nCore skills\nClear written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.\nCalm, decisive problem-solving when schedules or budgets are under pressure.\nNegotiation skills with vendors, contractors and public without reasonable accommodation.\nQualifications\nEducation and/or Skills Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 6 years of related professional experience, or 10 years of equivalent professional experience.\nExperience should include a track record of expanding project management duties.\nProven experience in project management roles, with a focus on managing larger-scale projects or programs.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.\nProficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.\nKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.\nEffective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong negotiation skills to manage contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively. \nStrong understanding of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.\nEducation and/or Work Experience Preferred:\nMaster’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry)\nCertificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Required:\nAbility to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with
