All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.\nDuties, Responsibilities & Other\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and draft survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, TBC, and ORD, ensuring they meet the required standards for approval by federal, state, and local agencies.\nWork with a team of drafters and designers under the supervision of a project manager to support the practice.\nReview and interpret design manuals, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details.\nPrepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches with some guidance.\nAble to review projects with customer(s) and answer design questions.\nSize and specify design requirements accurately.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements.\nStrive to achieve or exceed the budgeted individual utilization target.\nAttend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues.\nConsult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required.\nDemonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings.\nComplete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.\nCompare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nDesign and draft construction drawings using standard engineering principles for approval by federal, state, and local agencies.\nCollect necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, to support project needs.\nRead and interpret technical documents, design manuals, and local jurisdiction details to effectively perform job duties.\nSize and specify design requirements, ensuring all design aspects meet project and regulatory standards.\nComplete other duties as required or assigned.\n* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nThe job description is not designed to contain a complete listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
