Coordinates and maintains lab schedules for faculty and sets up lab activities on and possibly off campus. Oversees temporary workers/tutors.\nGrow microbial cultures, prepare microbiological media, and reagents. Maintains lab supplies and operates, cleans, and calibrates lab equipment as needed. Contacts maintenance contractor for equipment repairs.\nResponsible for the purchase of lab equipment and matching invoice and purchasing model reports for procurement.\nStores, labels, and oversees the disposal of biology-generated hazardous materials.
