We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Business Administration instructor to teach business and accounting courses.\nJob Duties:\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:\nTeaching approximately 15 credit hours per semester\nTeaching assignments will be face-to-face and online.\nMaintaining weekly office hours on campus\nAdvising students\nParticipating in college or system committees\nMaintain a current understanding of the field.\nA successful ACTC faculty member will exhibit the following:\nWillingness to work with peers to support the mission of the college\nWilling to teach at times, locations, and modalities to meet the needs of our students, including high school dual credit and prison education program students\nPresent the current discipline knowledge to teach effectively\nDemonstrate respect for the varied learning needs of students and the ability to adapt teaching methods to address learning styles\nWillingness to participate in the college’s continuous improvement process.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a Certified Public Accountant license and three years of accounting experience or a Master of Science in Accounting.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrefer a candidate with at least two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (Blackboard or similar LMS) and other instructional technology.\nAdditional Skills Requested:\nThis is a ten-month term contract position.\nApplications will be accepted until filled.
