The ability to effectively work with a team in providing nursing education to Practical Nursing students and Associate Degree Nursing students is essential for success in this position.\nThis position is a 10-month annual renewable faculty contract position.\nJob Duties:\nParticipates in instructional presentation and delivery; the planning and designing of instructional programs; instructional evaluation and assessment.\nAssists in the design and update of course syllabi, curriculum review, revision and development.\nMaintains records and reports on student learning.\nIncorporates latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.\nAssumes a participative role in supporting and promoting the mission, goals and objectives of the College by performing the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the leadership of the department, division, and College.\nWill be responsible for supplemental teaching in clinical and skills laboratory each semester.\nRecruits students for the program, provides student advising, assists in student placement, and monitors student performance.\nKeeps regular posted office hours and provides quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.\nParticipates in faculty committees, internal & external service, professional development, and other activities, as assigned.\nMay be required to teach evening, weekend, or at other campus locations as the need arises.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in a professional nursing education program approved by a state board of nursing.\nCurrent active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Kentucky or the ability to obtain license.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN)\nCertified Nurse Educator (CNE)\nAdditional Skills Requested:\nExperience in classroom and clinical teaching, curriculum design and use of technology, is essential to this position.\nQualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills;
