Curriculum provided and some student class work is done before class. Much of the in-person time is used for lab.\nJob Duties:\nDeliver in-person instruction in both theoretical and practical aspects .\nFacilitate hands-on lab activities that simulate real-world environments.\nMaintain classroom and lab spaces, including tools and training materials.\nStay current with industry trends, technologies, and code updates to ensure course content remains relevant.\nSupport student learning and success through mentorship and engagement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of two years of industry experience in the areas being taught industry or technical college training.\nDetail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments.\nSkilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).\nPreferred Qualifications:\n5 years experience with an associates degree in manufacturing field or industry certifications\nProficiency with Learning Management Systems (such as Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)\nSignificant teaching experience, particularly at the college level\nStrong dedication to enhancing student learning and achievement\nExperience working with and understanding students from diverse backgrounds\nExperience in academic advising and supporting student success\nPrevious experience in a community college setting\nAdditional Skills Requested:\nFaculty may be assigned courses that include both traditional college students and high school students earning dual credit.
