This position may require occasional travel between campuses. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on students' attainment and progress. Maintains order and discipline. Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps the program updated. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise. Provides follow-up services to assist in student placement, improved courses of instruction, and promote public relations. This is not a remote position & requires in-person, on-campus presence.\nJob Duties:\nThe instructor will be responsible for classroom lecture, supervising students in the college laboratory and clinical areas associated with the Practical Nursing Program. Additional duties will include academic advising, committee work, internal and external service and professional development.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExperience:\nTwo years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse in the hospital setting within the immediate past five years.\nEducation Requirements:\nAssociate Degree in Nursing.\nCurrent active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky.\nWillingness to complete BSN within 3 years\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBSN / MSN preferred\nNote: Tuition assistance to specific colleges and universities may be available upon hire for BSN to MSN credential.
