Job Summary
The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Surgical Technology Full-Time Instructor. Jefferson Community & Technical College is shaping the next generation of surgical technologists who will walk into operating rooms across Kentucky ready to perform. Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for:
- Didactic and clinical instruction in the Surgical Technology program
- Continued growth as an instructor and surgical technologist via professional development
- Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and ARC/STSA policies and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Surgical Technology program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in related field, certified surgical technologist
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching or precepting experience.

Occasional and /or light lifting - limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)
