If you hold the credentials, the clinical experience, and a genuine commitment to student success, this full-time faculty role puts you at the center of that work.\nJob Duties:\nThis position will be responsible for:\nDidactic and clinical instruction in the Surgical Technology program\nContinued growth as an instructor and surgical technologist via professional development\nCoordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities\nMaintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and ARC/STSA policies and regulations.\nOther duties as assigned by Surgical Technology program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree in related field, certified surgical technologist\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTeaching or precepting experience.\nAdditional Skills Requested:\nPhysical Requirements:\nOccasional and /or light lifting - limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)\nJefferson Community and Technical College is working to build an engaged faculty and staff committed to teaching and working within the community.
